Paneer/Chicken Tikka Masala

A rich, smoky North Indian classic with tender pieces simmered in a creamy, spiced tomato-based tikka sauce. Perfect with rice or naan.
Serves: 2
Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 pack (250 g) Aahaar Tikka Sauce
250-300 g paneer/meat/tofu/vegetables
1 tbsp oil/butter
2-3 tbsp fresh cream (optional, for richness)
1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped (optional)
½ tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves, optional)
Salt to taste
Method
Heat oil or butter in a pan on medium heat.
Add paneer/tofu/meat and lightly sear for 3–4 minutes until slightly golden.
Pour in the Aahaar Tikka Sauce.
Add 150 ml water and mix well.
Let it simmer for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add cream (if using), kasuri methi, and salt as needed.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with warm naan or rice.
Tip:
For extra heat: add ½ tsp red chilli powder or fresh chopped chilli while simmering.
For a smoky restaurant-style flavour: add a small knob of butter at the end.
